My aim in creating photographs is to evoke the feelings the subjects arouse in me when I am in the countryside or wilderness, or even in a striking urban setting. Although the images are fairly literal, I don't hesitate to manipulate them (subtly, I hope) in order to convey those feeling to the viewer.

I have been in and out of photography several times over the last forty-five years. In 2004 I got back in and am finding it more satisfying than ever before. Although my prints are for sale, they are also for your enjoyment. There's never any obligation to buy anything.
